  • Our schedules will open back up to our usual scheduling procedures.  We are seeing very few sick children right now.

  • In accordance with the Governor's order, we will continue to ask anyone 3 years old and over to wear a mask and the staff will continue to wear masks.

  • We will continue to clean all surfaces in rooms between every patient and routinely clean the waiting room.

  • We will continue to offer Telehealth for appropriate visits. We will continue to minimize any wait time in the waiting room. If there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable at your visit, please ask.

To the families of Hershey Pediatric Center:

  • We are extending our “Well” time until  3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • During “Well” time we will see well child visits, medication recheck visits and appropriate problem visits (ex. rashes, urinary symptoms, etc.).

  • We will see our sick patients that have acute illness symptoms starting at 3 p.m.

  • The nurses will continue to screen sick/problem calls.

  • At this point, we will continue to close at 5 p.m. daily. Stay tuned for when our evening hours open up again.

  • We continue to have our nurse triage line and provider on call for when the office is closed.

  • All providers will be available on the typical days they were working pre-COVID. Providers that typically worked the evenings will be available during the day-time hours.

  • We continue to offer telehealth visits for appropriate problems, rechecks, etc. We have had great success so far utilizing the Doxy.me website for these visits.

  • We continue to have all staff and anyone entering the office to wear a mask if they are three years old or older.

  • We continue to disinfect/clean all rooms after each patient visit and routinely clean the waiting room/bathrooms throughout the day.

  • We have hand sanitizer stationed in all patient rooms and in various areas throughout the office.

  • Our waiting room seating is spaced out to allow social distancing and we try to minimize any time spent in the waiting room.

  • We continue to utilize separate rooms for sick patients vs. well patients.

  •  We ask kindly that only the child that has an appointment and one healthy parent/guardian accompany him/her to appointments if possible.

We hope all of our patients are staying healthy and doing well during this difficult time. We continue to be here for you and your family. We are thankful for your continued trust in our practice to keep everyone healthy and safe. If there is anything we can be doing differently or in addition to make you feel safe, please let us know.
