Glen S. Bartlett, M.D., born in Brooklyn, NY, received his medical degree from Stanford University in 1965, and completed a pediatric internship at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, in June 1966. Following two years in the Public Health Service at the National Institutes of Health, he completed a pediatric residency at Stanford University Hospitals, Palo Alto, CA, and Metropolitan General Hospital in Cleveland, OH, from 1969 through 1972.
Dr. Bartlett served on the faculty of the Department of Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, OH, from 1972 through 1975, then directed the pediatric out-patient program at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center from 1975 through 1982.
Dr. Bartlett founded the Hershey Pediatric Center in May, 1982. He has special interests in child development and behavior, allergy and asthma, and school health. He serves as school physician and team physician for the Lower Dauphin School District,Hummelstown, PA. He serves on the Medical-Legal Advisory Board on Child Abuse of the PA Office of Attorney General and on The Children's Trust Fund Board in the PA Department of Public Welfare. Locally he chairs the Dauphin County Child Death Review Team, which he helped organize in 1994, and serves on the Multi-Disciplinary Team which advises the Division of Children, Youth and Families in the Dauphin County Department of Public Welfare.
Glen S. Bartlett, M.D. is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.
