Vaccine for the 2018/2019 Flu Season

Who should get the vaccine?
All children from 6 months to 23 months and all children with asthma, diabetes, heart defects, kidney disease and any other chronic illnesses, and older siblings of infants less than 6 months of age should receive this vaccine. Children younger than 9 years of age need two shots the first year they receive the vaccine. Children past their 9th birthday and children of any age who have received the vaccine before need only one shot this year,

When will it be given?
The dates for administration of the vaccine are

  • Saturday September 15

  • Saturday October 13

  • Saturday November 10

College students can be scheduled Wednesday November 21 10 am to 12 noon


Eligible children may also receive the vaccine at a regularly scheduled office visit.

How much is the vaccine?
Check with your insurance carrier to see if this is a covered service.

If not you will be responsible for the $50 charge for the vaccine at the time the injection is given.
